I'm a lawyer, technologist, and builder, and I've spent my career at the intersection of entertainment, media, and emerging technology. In the early 1990s, before I got into law, I was throwing events and DJing on college radio, an early education in bringing people together around something new. Since then my work has run from labor and dealmaking to digital media, and more recently to consulting for independent artists and small businesses. These days I'm exploring what we can build with AI, and writing about what I learn along the way.
